I can confirm the port and cable are good; I can connect a whitened MacBook fixed to manual/100/full on that exact same interface with the same cable without problem.. Hello all, Background: the system port referred to below can be 100/full-duplex/no autonegotiation.. This is usually not adjustable, unfortunately On a new (bought May '09) Mac Pro, it refuses to accept the regular/100/full setting..
